Here’s the recipe for my Wet Look Leather that’s edible! Here’s how I created edible wet-look patent leather. I worked out the proportions through experimenting and trying different ratios and so happy it finally worked! And as always , I’m more than happy to share it with you! Why you’ll love it: ✨ Super high-gloss finish ✨ Buttery soft texture ✨ After a day, it becomes so stretchable you can keep pulling without tearing ✨perfect for realistic cakes and to drape around contemporary cakes! ✅ Ingredients • 1 tbsp gelatine (9 g) • 2 tbsp water (30 g) • 1.5 tsp glycerine (7 g) • 1 tsp glucose (7 g) • 50 g condensed milk ✅ Method 1. Bloom the gelatine in water for 5 minutes. 2. Add condensed milk, glycerine, glucose, and the colour of your choice. 3. Mix well and spread evenly on a non-stick mat. 4. Leave for 10-15 minutes until fully dry. 5. Trim the edges and peel off your edible patent leather! 💡 If you try my technique, please do give credit or tag me.
